Barbara Gray is a cherished and dedicated educator who has been a pillar at Brookland Learning Center for the past 12 years. With a rich career spanning 27 years of owning and operating her own in-home childcare center, Barbara has touched the lives of countless children and families with her nurturing spirit and unwavering commitment to early childhood education.

As a mother of three, a grandmother of eight, and a proud great-grandmother of ten, Barbara’s love for children has always been the center of her life. Her nurturing nature extends beyond her family and into every classroom she enters, making her a beloved figure at Brookland. With a marriage that has flourished for over 52 years, Barbara brings a wealth of experience, wisdom, and warmth to the Brookland community.

Known for her compassionate approach and deep dedication to fostering children’s growth, Barbara is truly a powerhouse in early childhood education. Her legacy at Brookland is one of love, learning, and leadership, as she continues to inspire staff and students alike with her passion for teaching and her boundless care for the well-being of every child she encounters.

The Johnson Family

With three generations of educators, the Johnsons have been part of Brookland for over 20 years. Jane Johnson, the matriarch, began as a teacher, while her daughters, Mary and Lucy, now hold leadership roles.

The Williams Sisters

Both Maria and Susan started their careers as assistant teachers and now serve as curriculum coordinators, ensuring high-quality educational experiences for every child.
